Does Poland opt into EU Inc?
No Polish government position on EU Inc has been published. Warsaw took part in the Competitiveness Council’s first ministerial policy debate on 28 May 2026, but individual interventions were not made public, and no endorsement from the Polish startup ecosystem has been documented. The regulation is not yet adopted; Poland — one of the larger qualified-majority votes in Council — has not shown its hand.
Poland’s default startup vehicle remains the sp. z o.o., alongside the prosta spółka akcyjna (P.S.A.) introduced in July 2021 specifically for startups (1 złoty minimum capital, flexible share classes) — Polish legal commentary has noted that several EU Inc features echo the P.S.A. playbook.
