Does Romania opt into EU Inc?
No Romanian government position on EU Inc has been published, and no major national association has taken a formal stance. The visible signal is grassroots: eu-inc.ro, run by eu/acc Romania, is collecting signatures from Romanian founders, startups and investors for a public declaration urging Romania to back the proposal — evidence of ecosystem demand, not of state policy. The regulation is not yet adopted; Romania’s vote will be cast in Council, by qualified majority.
The standard domestic vehicle is the SRL (societate cu răspundere limitată), the near-universal form for Romanian startups. Until Bucharest publishes a position, the honest status is unknown — follow the tracker for the live legislative state.
